Tropein LLC (“Tropein,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit www.tropein.com, create an account, purchase a product, enroll in a subscription, submit a review, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with a service that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
Tropein LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Services and related interactions with Tropein. It does not apply to information handled independently by third-party marketplaces, social-media platforms, websites, or services under their own privacy policies.
1. Personal Information We Collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with an individual or household. Personal information generally does not include lawfully public, aggregated, or deidentified information.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories.
A. Identifiers and contact information
This may include:
- Name;
- Billing and shipping address;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Account username or identifier;
- Internet Protocol address;
- Device identifiers;
- Cookie identifiers; and
- Similar identifiers.
B. Account and authentication information
This may include:
- Account credentials;
- Account preferences;
- Saved addresses;
- Subscription settings;
- Communication preferences; and
- Account activity.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials.
C. Transaction and commercial information
This may include:
- Products viewed or purchased;
- Products placed in a shopping cart;
- Order history;
- Subscription selections and frequency;
- Discounts and promotional offers;
- Payment status;
- Shipping and delivery information;
- Returns, replacements, and refunds;
- Product preferences; and
- Communications about purchases.
Tropein generally does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Payment information is processed by Shopify and authorized payment processors. We may receive limited information such as payment status, card type, expiration information, or a tokenized payment identifier.
D. Device and Internet activity
We and our providers may automatically collect:
- Browser and device type;
- Operating system;
- Internet Protocol address;
- Internet service provider;
- Network information;
- Pages and products viewed;
- Links selected;
- Search activity;
- Referral and exit pages;
- Dates and times of visits;
- Shopping-cart and checkout activity;
- Interactions with emails or advertisements;
- Cookie and similar technology data;
- Session information; and
- Diagnostic and performance information.
E. Approximate location
We may derive approximate location, such as city, state, or country, from an Internet Protocol address.
Tropein does not intend to collect precise GPS location through the Services.
F. Reviews and customer content
This may include:
- Ratings;
- Written reviews;
- Photographs;
- Videos;
- Testimonials;
- Social-media content;
- Survey responses;
- Questions;
- Contest or promotional submissions;
- Suggestions; and
- Other feedback or content.
Content submitted to a public portion of the Services may be visible to anyone.
G. Communications
We collect information contained in:
- Emails;
- Customer-service requests;
- Text messages;
- Social-media messages;
- Privacy requests;
- Product complaints;
- Adverse-event reports; and
- Other communications.
H. Product-safety and health-related information
If you contact us about a product reaction, product suitability, allergy, pregnancy, medication, medical condition, or other safety matter, we may collect health-related information you voluntarily provide.
Purchases, product preferences, reviews, or browsing activity involving dietary supplements or wellness-related products may also be considered consumer health data under certain state laws.

I. Marketing and mobile-messaging information
If you enroll in promotional email or text messaging, we may collect:
- Email address or mobile telephone number;
- Consent date and time;
- Consent source and method;
- Opt-in and opt-out status;
- Message history;
- Delivery and error information;
- Engagement information; and
- Customer-support interactions related to the program.
J. Inferences and preferences
We may derive likely product preferences or interests from purchase history, subscriptions, reviews, and interactions with the Services.
Tropein does not intend to infer a medical diagnosis or treatment need.
K. Business and wholesale information
If you contact us regarding wholesale, marketplace, affiliate, influencer, vendor, or other business opportunities, we may collect:
- Name;
- Company;
- Job title;
- Business contact information;
- Tax or resale documentation;
- Social-media information; and
- Related communications.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We may collect personal information from:
- You directly;
- Your account, orders, subscriptions, reviews, and communications;
- Your browser or device;
- Cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies;
- Shopify and applications connected to our Shopify store;
- Google Analytics;
- Payment processors;
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment providers;
- Subscription and review providers;
- Customer-support providers;
- Email and SMS providers;
- Fraud-prevention and security providers;
- Analytics and advertising partners;
- Social-media platforms;
- Affiliates, influencers, and referral partners;
- Third-party marketplaces when they provide information necessary to fulfill or support an order; and
- Publicly available sources.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage accounts;
- Authenticate users;
- Process payments, orders, and subscriptions;
- Fulfill, ship, track, replace, and support orders;
- Administer returns and refunds;
- Communicate about transactions and subscriptions;

- Receive and investigate product complaints and safety reports;
- Satisfy dietary-supplement safety and reporting obligations;
- Display and moderate reviews;
- Personalize content and product recommendations;
- Administer promotions and discounts;
- Send promotional email or text messages with appropriate consent;
- Send abandoned-cart reminders with appropriate consent;
- Measure advertising and marketing performance;
- Conduct analytics and understand use of the Services;
- Diagnose technical problems;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized transactions, and security incidents;
- Protect customers, Tropein, and others;
- Enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- Complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or similar business transaction.
We may use aggregated or deidentified information for lawful purposes. Where applicable law requires information to remain deidentified, we will not attempt to reidentify it.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients.
A. Shopify and e-commerce providers
Our store is powered by Shopify. Shopify processes information required to host the store, provide checkout and account functionality, prevent fraud, support payments, and provide other commerce services.
Shopify may also process information under its own privacy terms when it acts independently. Information about Shopify’s practices is available at:

B. Payment processors
Payment processors receive payment and billing information necessary to authorize, process, and manage transactions.
C. Fulfillment providers and shipping carriers
We may disclose names, addresses, contact details, order contents, and delivery information to warehouses, fulfillment partners, and shipping carriers.
D. Subscription, review, and customer-service providers
Providers that support recurring orders, reviews, account features, customer support, returns, and communications may process information on our behalf.
E. Google Analytics
Google may receive device information, Internet activity, page URLs, approximate location, cookies, and similar information to provide website analytics and measurement services.
Our use of Google Analytics is described in Section 6.
F. Advertising and marketing partners
If advertising or marketing tools are enabled, their providers may receive identifiers, device information, Internet activity, approximate location, commercial activity, referral information, or inferred interests.
Some disclosures may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws, even when Tropein does not receive money for the information.
G. Email, SMS, affiliate, and influencer providers
We may disclose contact information, consent records, campaign interactions, referral information, and limited commercial information to providers that deliver or measure communications and promotions.
Tropein does not disclose SMS consent information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing.
H. Product manufacturers and safety providers
When necessary to investigate a complaint, quality issue, or adverse event, we may disclose relevant information to:
- Contract manufacturers;
- Laboratories;
- Safety consultants;
- Insurers;
- Attorneys;
- Medical or scientific consultants; and
- Regulatory authorities.
Tropein does not use information submitted in an adverse-event report for targeted advertising.
I. Professional advisors
We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and other professional advisors subject to appropriate obligations.
J. Government authorities and legal recipients
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or valid legal process;
- Respond to a government or regulatory request;
- Report a serious adverse event;
- Protect rights, safety, property, or security;
- Investigate fraud or unlawful activity; or
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
K. Business transactions
Personal information may be disclosed to parties involved in an actual or proposed financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, asset sale, or similar transaction.
L. Public and user-directed disclosures
Reviews and other content you publish may be visible publicly.
We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies.
These technologies may support:
- Essential store and checkout functionality;
- Account authentication;
- Shopping-cart operation;
- Security and fraud prevention;
- Remembering preferences;
- Analytics and performance measurement;
- Personalization;
- Advertising measurement;
- Targeted advertising; and
- Abandoned-cart reminders.
You may manage available choices through the cookie banner or “Your Privacy Choices” page.
Your browser may also allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent portions of the Services from functioning.
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no universal standard for ordinary Do Not Track signals, the Services may not respond to them.
Where required, Tropein recognizes Global Privacy Control and other legally valid opt-out preference signals.
6. Google Analytics
Tropein uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and interact with the Services, measure website performance, identify technical issues, evaluate product and page interest, and improve the customer experience.
Google Analytics may collect information through cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Internet Protocol address;
- Browser and device information;
- Approximate location;
- Referral source;
- Page URLs and titles;
- Dates and times of visits;
- Products and pages viewed;
- Shopping-cart and checkout events; and
- Other interactions with the Services.
Google may process this information to provide analytics, measurement, security, and related services according to Google’s policies.

Tropein does not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, complete payment information, adverse-event reports, customer-service message contents, or other directly identifying or sensitive form information to Google Analytics.
Where required, Google Analytics operates according to choices made through Tropein’s cookie banner and consent controls.

Tropein generally retains user-level and event-level Google Analytics information for up to 14 months. Aggregated reports that do not directly identify an individual may remain available longer.
Tropein does not use Google Analytics information for Google advertising personalization unless that feature is separately enabled, disclosed, and operated according to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
With affirmative consent where required, Google Analytics may receive information showing that a visitor viewed or interacted with a mushroom-pouch or other wellness-related product page. Applicable law may treat that browsing activity as consumer health data.
Tropein does not send product-safety reports, reported symptoms, medication information, medical-condition information, or similar health information submitted through forms or customer communications to Google Analytics.
7. Targeted Advertising, Sale, and Sharing
Tropein does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
If Tropein enables advertising pixels, advertising networks, Shopify advertising features, or similar tools, disclosures of identifiers, device data, Internet activity, commercial information, approximate location, or inferences may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under applicable state law.
Where required, you may opt out by:
- Selecting the “Your Privacy Choices” link on the Site;
- Adjusting available cookie settings;
- Enabling Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized opt-out preference signal; or
- Emailing Support@Tropein.com.
Cookie-based opt-out settings may apply only to the browser and device used. If you clear cookies, change browsers, or use another device, you may need to make the selection again.
Tropein does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
Tropein does not sell consumer health data and will not disclose consumer health data for targeted advertising without providing any required notice and obtaining any required affirmative consent.
8. Email and Mobile Messaging
Tropein may send transactional communications concerning orders, subscriptions, deliveries, accounts, product safety, and customer-service requests.
With appropriate consent, Tropein may send promotional emails and recurring automated SMS or MMS text messages concerning products, promotions, releases, subscription offers, and other marketing.
Information collected for mobile messaging
If you enroll in Tropein’s mobile messaging program, we and our messaging providers may collect:
- Mobile telephone number;
- Consent date and time;
- Consent source and method;
- Opt-in and opt-out status;
- Message history;
- Delivery, error, and engagement information;
- Responses and customer-support interactions; and
- Information needed to maintain consent and suppression records.
Abandoned-cart reminders
If you have opted in to promotional text messages and Tropein enables abandoned-cart reminders, cookies and similar technologies may identify products placed in a cart and whether checkout was completed.
Tropein may use that information to send cart-reminder messages only when permitted by your consent and applicable law.
Use and disclosure of messaging information
Tropein may use messaging information to:
- Deliver transactional and promotional messages;
- Operate and improve the messaging program;
- Respond to customer-service requests;
- Measure delivery and campaign performance;
- Prevent fraud and misuse;
- Maintain consent and opt-out records; and
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and carrier requirements.
Tropein may disclose mobile numbers, consent records, message information, and limited transaction or cart information to messaging platforms, wireless carriers, and providers that operate or support the program.
Tropein does not disclose SMS opt-in or consent information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing.
Communication choices
Consent to promotional text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact Support@Tropein.com.
Unless you opt in again, Tropein will not send further automated promotional messages after processing an opt-out. Transactional, safety, or otherwise legally permitted messages may continue.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in an email.
Number changes and carrier responsibility
You should notify Tropein or opt out before transferring or discontinuing an enrolled telephone number.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Tropein or its provider may change the telephone number or short code used to send messages and will provide notice when appropriate.
Messaging retention
Tropein retains consent records, opt-out records, and related logs as reasonably necessary to operate the program, demonstrate consent, honor preferences, resolve complaints, and comply with legal and carrier requirements.
Tropein may retain a suppression record after an opt-out to ensure the request continues to be honored.
9. Public Reviews and Customer Content
Information submitted in a public review—including names, photographs, videos, product experiences, health experiences, and other details—may be viewed, copied, or used by others.
Do not include confidential, medical, or other sensitive information that you do not want made public.
Tropein does not control everyone who may access public content and cannot guarantee that others will handle it responsibly.
10. Data Retention
Tropein retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including legal, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs.
Our general retention periods and criteria include:
- Account information: For the life of the account and a reasonable period afterward for security, reactivation, disputes, and legal compliance.
- Order and transaction records: Generally for up to seven years after the transaction to satisfy tax, accounting, contractual, and legal requirements.
- Subscription records: For the subscription period and generally up to seven years afterward for billing, accounting, and dispute purposes.
- Customer-service communications: Generally for up to three years unless associated with a transaction, safety matter, or legal dispute requiring longer retention.
- Product-safety and adverse-event records: At least six years when required for dietary-supplement adverse-event recordkeeping, and longer when reasonably necessary for safety or legal purposes.
- Marketing records: Until you unsubscribe or we no longer need the information, plus a suppression record to honor the opt-out.
- Reviews and customer content: While published or reasonably useful for the purposes for which it was submitted, subject to applicable rights and legal requirements.
- Google Analytics data: User-level and event-level information for up to 14 months, subject to the configured Analytics settings. Aggregated reporting may remain available longer.
- Cookie and advertising data: According to the technology’s lifespan and provider settings and no longer than reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose.
- Privacy requests: For the period reasonably necessary to process the request and demonstrate compliance.
We may retain information longer when required by law, necessary to protect safety, needed to resolve a dispute, or subject to a legal hold.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it.
11. Data Security
Tropein uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Email is not always a secure communication channel. Do not send Social Security numbers, complete payment-card information, government identification documents, complete medical records, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.
Tropein may provide another method for securely submitting information when appropriate.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
12. Children’s and Teen Privacy
The Services and Tropein products are intended only for people who are at least 18 years old.
Tropein does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 and does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact Support@Tropein.com so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether applicable law applies, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information;
- Access personal information;
- Obtain a portable copy;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete personal information;
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising;
- Opt out of certain profiling with legal or similarly significant effects;
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;
- Withdraw consent;
- Obtain information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients;
- Appeal a denied request; and
- Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
These rights are subject to exceptions. We may retain information needed to complete a transaction, comply with law, maintain safety records, prevent fraud, or defend legal claims.
Submitting a request
To submit a privacy request, email:
Use the subject line “Privacy Request” and describe the right you wish to exercise.
You do not need to create a new account to submit a request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests.
If we cannot verify a request, we may be unable to fulfill it.
Appeals
If we deny a request and applicable law provides an appeal right, email Support@Tropein.com with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”
Include the original request and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
Authorized agents
Where permitted, an authorized agent may submit a request for you. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
Non-discrimination
Tropein will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
14. Additional U.S. State Disclosures
This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for residents of states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws.
Tropein may collect the categories described in Section 1 from the sources identified in Section 2, use them for the purposes in Section 3, and disclose them to the recipients in Section 4.
Tropein does not sell personal information for monetary payment.
If analytics or advertising tools are enabled, Tropein may disclose the following categories in ways considered targeted advertising, sale, or sharing:
- Identifiers and online identifiers;
- Device and Internet activity;
- Approximate location;
- Commercial information; and
- Inferences about product preferences.
These categories may be disclosed to analytics, advertising, social-media, and marketing partners.
Tropein does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for unrelated purposes.
Tropein does not currently provide a financial-incentive program in exchange for personal information. Ordinary product promotions and subscription discounts are not provided in exchange for the sale of personal information.
15. Consumer Health Data
Certain information handled by Tropein may be considered consumer health data, including:
- Purchases of mushroom-based dietary supplements;
- Subscription and product preferences;
- Wellness-related product-page activity;
- Product reviews describing health or wellness experiences;
- Product-safety reports; and
- Adverse-event information.

Tropein does not sell consumer health data.
Tropein does not use information from adverse-event or product-safety reports for advertising.
16. Social Media and Third-Party Features
If you interact with social-media widgets, embedded content, referral links, or third-party features, Tropein and the applicable platform may receive information about the interaction.
The third party’s independent use of information is governed by its privacy policy.
17. Third-Party Websites and Marketplaces
The Services may link to third-party websites, social-media platforms, and marketplaces. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
When you purchase through Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, or another marketplace, that marketplace may independently collect and use your information. Tropein may receive information needed to fulfill, support, or account for the marketplace order.
18. United States Processing
Tropein currently serves customers in the United States.
Personal information may be stored and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
19. Privacy Complaints
If you have concerns about Tropein’s privacy practices, contact Support@Tropein.com.
If we cannot resolve your concern, you may have the right to appeal our decision or submit a complaint to the attorney general, privacy regulator, or other authority in your state.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Tropein may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in products, providers, technology, practices, or legal obligations.
The updated policy will identify its revision date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
